I am having the same issue as Lacey. I cannot file a warranty claim because the mold number does not exist.
Poor Design 2017-10-12

The lid broke before I even used it at one of the tabs that snaps the lid onto the main container. The plastic is extremely thin and brittle at the joint where the tabs bend.

I do not have the receipt anymore as I purchased it a while ago at a Tupperware party and it sat in my kitchen cabinet for quite a few months, so I can't return it. I Attempted to fill a warranty request online and the mold number conveniently "cannot be found". I spoke to a customer service representative who told me I would then need to send it in to the factory at my own cost and I would likely be charged for the replacement to be shipped back to me. No thank you! Warranty is useless if I pay for the item again in shipping costs. This is clearly a manufacturer issue covered by warranty, and it could be easily seen in photos. Tupperware makes it sound easy to return, but that is not the case!

I did not try it to see if it actually cooks rice, but it is a poor design, so I would not recommend purchasing.
Tupperware used to make quality products, but new Tupperware is not worth the price!
